Membership of other organizations
We are committed
DZ BANK supports various initiatives through its membership of a number of organizations. These initiatives primarily involve support for academic study and the financial sector.
Our activities include membership of the following initiatives, associations, and foundations.
- Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft: Stifterverband, the German business community's innovation agency to support science in Germany, has set itself the task of identifying and resolving structural problems in scientific research and higher education in the country. - Stiftung Marktwirtschaft: This foundation is a German market-oriented economic policy think tank, focusing on issues in the labor market, social security, and taxation. More information can be found at www.stiftung-marktwirtschaft.de
- Deutsches Aktieninstitut: The institute is active at all social levels and in the political arena to promote Germany as a financial center and the acceptance of equity as an investment and financing tool. More information can be found at www.dai.de
- House of Finance: House of Finance brings together all Frankfurt University's various financial research, training and consulting institutions. It aims to become a leading European center for finance. More information can be found at www.houseoffinance.eu
- Initiative Finanzstandort Deutschland: The objective of the initiative is to strengthen Germany as a financial center. It is developing specific products for this purpose and intends to use these products to provide new stimulus for the national economy. DZ BANK is one of the initiators and has 25 representatives on various working groups. In 2010, DZ BANK has taken on the leadership of this initiative. - Gesellschaft für Risikomanagement und Regulierung: The aim of this society is to promote education and research in the fields of risk management and regulation, primarily by founding the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation. More information can be found at www.firm.fm
