A key element of employee satisfaction is being able to maintain a good work-life balance. That is one of the reasons why DZ BANK actively promotes compatibility between work and family.
Besides part-time work and alternating teleworking models, we offer various childcare facilities throughout Germany, such as emergency daycare for children up to twelve years of age which is available to employees free of charge for ten days per year.
We have set up specially equipped parent-and-child offices at our locations in Frankfurt, Munich, and Hannover, so that our employees can take their children to work if their regular day-care solution is temporarily unavailable.
We also have arrangements with local day care centers and kindergartens in proximity of the workplace. Statutory family leave and medical leave are also available in our foreign branches.
Besides caring for children, acting as a caregiver for other relatives is becoming an increasingly significant issue. We have therefore introduced special skills training for employees who have to cope with this double burden.
